The Lauren Joy collection holds the superlative of “Most Popular” at DRD. The collection is a client go-to and a celebrity favorite.  While bigger isn’t always better, the launch of the Lauren Joy Medium earrings is giving our minis a run for their money!

Our clients wanted to see something bigger, and that’s exactly what I gave them. These earrings are perfectly sized, versatile, classic, and obviously gorgeous! I’m so proud to have this coveted piece named after my dear friend in Atlanta who is not only a talented decorator, but a wonderful mom to Eva, and her other baby on the way.  The Lauren Joy Medium is the perfect earring for the woman who does it all, but looks chic doing it… much like my friend Lauren and Miss Jessica Alba!

Dana had the pleasure of co-hosting the Sequins at Breakfast networking event on April 5^th at Cru Kitchen and Wine Bar.  Delicious food and glittering fashion were certainly on the menu that morning. Dana was surrounding by successful, wonderful women like co-hosts Lindsay Avner, Azeeza Khan, Amanda Puck, Kiran Advani, Kimberly Burt, Lynn Bredfelt, Jenna Gambaccini, Julie Selakovich Saunders, and speaker Erica Strama. All those who hosted and attended the event shared the same goal: female empowerment.

In the honor of celebrating women, food, and fashion, the proceeds from this fabulous breakfast benefited Bright Pink. This organization is close to Dana’s heart and she couldn’t have been happier to be a part of this event. And besides, don’t we all need an excuse to wear sequins to breakfast?

Vosges sought out some of Chicago’s must successful professionals to create a video celebrating their moms for Mother’s Day. Our very own, Dana Gordon, is featured in the video and it perfectly captured her wit, humor, and love for her mom. It was nothing short of an honor to share the screen with the likes of Mayor Daley and Susanna Negovan, among many others. Vosges really hit the mark in this little film and we are so happy they took the time to highlight and appreciate moms everywhere.

We couldn’t agree more with Marylin Monroe when she said, “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend.”  Our hearts skip a beat every time we see a diamond sparkle. While you never need a reason to buy something sparkly, our ladies born in April have a great excuse to drip in diamonds. April truly has the best and most blinging birthstone. Diamonds are a timeless choice, regardless of your fashion personality. Lets be honest, diamonds are always a good idea.

Summer is synonymous with music festivals and tribal-inspired gear. The JEB collection is the perfect way to introduce the trend into your wardrobe. I created this ikat-esque design with my friend Jen B in mind.  Of all my girlfriends, JEB is the girl who has a hint of trend to her without being overly obviously. She finds a subtle way to introduce trends into her timeless aesthetic.

Traveling with jewelry can be a hassle. Especially when your jewelry is on the delicate side. Tangling or breakage is always a big fear. Here are a few tips and tricks that will help you get your jewelry to your destination in one piece.

Step 1: Untangle
Make sure your necklace is clasped and knot free. If there are any knots, use tweezers to help you untangle them.

Step 2: Place in Bag
Gently place the necklace in a zip lock bag. About 1 inch of the end of the necklace (including the clasp) should hang out of the bag to prevent any tangling.

Step 3: Store
Place the zip lock bag in a soft pouch for extra protection.
